Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Policy

SotKit Media ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of creators and content owners. We expect the users of our video-sharing platform sotkit to do the same.

In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512, et seq.) ("DMCA"), SotKit Media will respond expeditiously to notices of alleged copyright infringement submitted to our Designated Copyright Agent in compliance with the requirements set forth below.

1.DMCA Takedown Notice Instructions

If you are a copyright owner or an agent authorized to act on behalf of a copyright owner, and you believe that any video or content hosted on our Platform infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA Takedown Notice containing the following information:

Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
Identification of the Infringing Material: The specific URL(s) or direct video link(s) on our Platform containing the material you claim is infringing, with sufficient detail to allow us to locate the content.
Contact Information: Your full legal name, physical address, telephone number, and email address.
Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
Accuracy & Perjury Statement:A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Signature:A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

2.Counter-Notification Procedures

If you uploaded a video or content to our Platform that was removed or disabled as a result of a DMCA Takedown Notice, and you believe this action was taken by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written Counter-Notification containing the following details:

Identification of the Removed Material: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.

Contact Information: The specific URL(s) or direct video link(s) on our Platform containing the material you claim is infringing, with sufficient detail to allow us to locate the content.

Perjury Statement: Your full legal name, physical address, telephone number, and email address.

Jurisdiction Statement:A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

Signature:A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Send the Counter-Notification to our Designated Copyright Agent using the contact details provided above.

Upon receipt of a valid Counter-Notification, Sotkit Media will forward a copy to the original complaining party. If the copyright owner does not file a court action seeking a court order against the content uploader within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore or re-enable access to the removed material at our discretion.

3.Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, SotKit Media enforces a strict Repeat Infringer Policy.

We reserve the right, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, to terminate, suspend, or disable the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. A repeat infringer includes, but is not limited to, any user who has received multiple copyright strikes or whose user-submitted content has been removed due to multiple valid DMCA notices.

4.Modifications to Policy

SotKit Media reserves the right to modify or update this DMCA Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
